Tricky one with how to set up the defence as Palace have a fierce forward line. I'd go three at the back and bring back Collins into the three.

Randolph
Collins Reid Ogbonna
Antonio Obiang Noble Cresswell
Lanzini Carroll Payet

Start drilling this formation at the London Stadium next week, if we get a decent, fit right back in before the weekend then maybe start him in a 442, If Hogan comes in give him 30 mins at the end.

Re: Team v Palace
you were spot on Justin, just missed the unpredictable change of Fegouli coming on for payet.
However the half time change to something like this got us the goals...

Randolph
Byram Collins Reid Cresswell
Fegouli Obiang Noble
Antonio Carroll Lanzini
.

Er.......

------------------Randolph
--------Reid -----Collins------Oggy
Eddy----Obiang-----Noble------Cressminge
-----Feggy Sue ----------Lanzini
--------------------Donkey

I don't see where the goals are coming from but I reckon that's the only option Slav has for this game.

Lanzini needs to play centrally, but we're short of wide players (can't believe I'm saying that we had more of them thn anything else) maybe Fernandes can play wide left.

No Antonio today either by the sounds of it. No idea who I'd play now.

Who else have we got to play at right back?

He might be injured anyway.

I can't keep up with who is injured, ill, in Africa or refusing to play. Have we got 11 players to choose from?

Sorry not Ayew - maybe Feghouli then.

Re: Team v Palace
Bare bones!!!

I'd be tempted to play Oxford holding midfield alongside Obiang. Bit of freedom for lanzini, ayew and Antonio.

Nordveit is struggling with a knee injury picked up against Man City. Might not be fit for Palace.
